About Me
PLEASE NOTE - Currently on maternity leave until July 2024
For over 10 years Mirinda has set out to learn and study all things wellness, bridging the gap between mind and body. She spent 3 of those years running her own yoga studio OM Collective in Sydney and is currently a Provisional Psychologist working in private practice at The Mood & Mind Centre. She still teaches yoga around the Gold Coast in studios and trauma informed classes at rehab centres. She has further qualifications including certifications in Health Coaching, Personal Training and an Advanced Diploma of Nutritional Medicine.

Mirinda is passionate about embodying a truly holistic approach that integrates evidence based methodologies. She draws upon an eclectic mix of modalities including the classic CBT, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing and of course yoga philosophy. She prioritises the safety and unique individual needs of each of her clients and strives to create an environment in which you are accepted without judgement.
I am consistently evolving and growing as both a practitioner and a person. I deeply value authenticity so I (try to) embody the age old saying, 'practice what you preach'. Ultimately, my goal is to share, support and empower individuals and groups with the specific tools and techniques I've studied, practiced and continue to grow with for over a decade.
“Neuroscience research shows that the only way we can change the way we feel is by becoming aware of our inner experience and learning to befriend what is going on inside ourselves.”
